This chapter provides the vocabulary in Pindar's Odes. It includes αβατος‎, -α‎ (-η‎), -ον‎ uncrossable άβρός‎, -ά‎, όν‎ splendid άγάθεος‎ (ήγάθεος‎), -α‎, -ον ν‎ery holy άγακλεής‎, -ές‎ very glorious άγάλλω Ι‎ honour, glorify αγαλμα‎, -ατοο‎, τό‎ glory άγανός‎, -ά‎ (-ή‎), -όν‎ gentle. It also covers άγάνωρ‎ (άγήνωρ‎), -ορος‎ manly, glorious άγγέλλω Ι‎ announce, and άγλαιζω Ι‎ glorify. The chapter lists άγλαόκολπος‎, -ον‎ fair-bosomed άγλαός‎, -ά‎ (-ή‎), -όν‎ splendid, and Άγλαοτρίαινα‎ (-ης‎), -ου‎, ό‎ with splendid trident.
