For many years, there has been a growing concern over the impact of environmental pollution. With the emergence of heavy industries, factories and power stations, air, land and water became polluted. It also describes the various types of environmental pollutants and their effects on people and other organisms. Many of the issues that are threatening the environment are discussed.
