This chapter first details the author's study on the reported cluster of mothers who had Down's syndrome babies in Dundalk, which also included the surrounding county of Louth or over the border in the Newry/Mourne district of Northern Ireland. He furthermore describes a follow-up study on the prevalence of multiple sclerosis in Malta starting in 1999.
