This chapter presents concluding remarks on the cause, cure and care of autism. The search for the cause of autism is a scientific one. Medical research will continue to look for what might be supplemental or lacking in the autistic brain. This chapter suggests that the connections between autistic and non–autistic humanity can be better understood if the subject is approached with less fear. It also shows that caring about autism is something from which all manner of people can and must benefit.
